Posted on 16/06/2016

Many delicious fruits can aid in the relief of inflammatory conditions such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

This tasty fruit salad is packed full of bromelain, carotenoids, vitamins and enzymes with anti-inflammatory properties and immune system benefits.

Ingredients

  • 1 pineapple
  • 1 red papaya
  • 1/2 of a watermelon
  • seeds of 1 small pomegranate
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger
  • pinch of turmeric

Cut the pineapple, papaya and watermelon into small slices or bite sized pieces. Arrange all the fruit slices on a large platter and sprinkle the pomegranate seeds, grated ginger and turmeric on top of the fruit salad.

.
If you don’t like the taste of ginger or turmeric, there are many other spices with anti-inflammatory benefits such as cinnamon, cloves or vanilla which you could try on top of the fruit salad instead.
