This delicious festive treat is an easy recipe and only takes 10 minutes to prepare. It also contains nuts which are a good source of protein and iron in pregnancy.

Ingredients
- 750g Christmas pudding or fruitcake (fruitcake is a lighter less rich option)
- 100g dark chocolate, chopped
- 30g butter
- 200g white chocolate, chopped
- small pack glace cherries red and green to decorate
- ½ cup chopped almonds
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
Method
Break up Christmas pudding or fruitcake in a bowl. Place dark chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan half filled with simmering water. Stir until ingredients melt together and mixture is smooth.
Combined melted chocolate to cake/pudding mix, stir to combine. Add almonds and walnuts to mixture.
Roll approx. a tablespoon size of mixture into balls and place on a tray lined with baking paper. Transfer to fridge to chill for 45 mins.
Place white chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan half filled with simmering water and stir until melted and smooth. Drizzle melted chocolate over puddings and decorate with small slices of glacé cherries.
