This class is designed to guide you through the initial
stages of postnatal recovery, offering realistic ways to slowly
introduce yoga & gentle exercise back into your routine to
ultimately support your health and mental well-being after
pregnancy. This is not a physical yoga practice, but rather an informative discussion and demonstration based class.
- Breathing and relaxation techniques to calm and rejuvenate
- Discussion & demonstration of yoga poses to alleviate some common postnatal complaints
- Exercises to strengthen and tone pelvic floor & abdominal muscles that were stretched during pregnancy and birth
- Demonstration of yoga poses and sample postnatal yoga practice that you can take away and do in your own time in the comfort of your own home.
