HOSPITAL VISITING RESTRICTIONS DURING THE CURRENT LOCKDOWN

Posted on 15/07/2021

Dear Patients,
We wanted to reach out and update you all on the current hospital visiting requirements during this COVID lockdown. Please be aware that information has been changing rapidly and these measures have been put in place by the hospitals for the safety of all.

Royal Prince Alfred ( RPA )
Partner or support person ( 1 person only ) for delivery suite and for the duration of labour and delivery.
Antenatal and Postnatal Wards – one support person is allowed at any given time, with no time-limit in a single room.

Mater & North Shore Private Hospital (NSPH)
Partner or support person ( 1 person only ) for delivery suite and the postnatal stay. Recommended to stay with you, but they can come and go if needed.

Prince of Wales Private Hospital (POWP)
Partner or support person ( 1 person only ) for delivery suite and postnatal stay.
That person can stay with you for the duration of your stay, but if they leave they cannot return.

These are the current guidelines, however, the situation changes rapidly and will depend on how the Sydney COVID situation progresses. We will endeavour to update you as and when new information comes to hand.
